Change.

It has been sometime since I have contributed any thoughts here, chiefly because my thoughts have been consumed by the process of moving. My Bishop asked me to take a new assignment, and for any Priest, no matter the context, the process of a move is one which engages the whole self, and consequently exhausts the whole self.

Now that I am closer to settled in my new home, and falling into the rhythm of daily life here in this Parish, I can begin to pick back up the loose ends that I had dropped, this website being one of those.

As this Thoughts page is foremost a private exercise for my intellectual and creative outlet and development, its primary goal is to keep me on a regular schedule of contemplation and creation. As such, getting back into a consistent flow here is necessary to getting settled in this new place.

So, here is to new adventures, to order in chaos, and to God’s Will over mine.
